Paul Boudens

AGI Open 2023 Paul Boudens Portrait BW 2000x2000px

Graphic designer Paul Boudens (1965) has almost become synonymous with Belgian fashion. His signature style has been a propelling force in the visual language of art, theatre and dance for decades, across Europe and far beyond.

Paul’s work has an unparalleled kinetic energy with a distinct and layered finishing touch that’s mesmerising to fashion-obsessed Gen-Z’ers on TikTok and creative industry veterans alike. Aside from his leading graphic design for Walter Van Beirendonck, the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and MoMu—Fashion Museum Antwerp, he has created universes for fashion designers Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten, Jurgi Persoons, Haider Ackermann, Olivier Theyskens; choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s Rosas dance company and P.A.R.T.S. school; the Brussels Opera, Kaaitheater, and more.

Paul was co-founder of N°A Magazine which became A Magazine Curated By and has designed more than 50 books, which now feature as collector’s items in the best bookstores around the world. A much-deserved rest on laurels like these would be more than understandable, but Paul will always be the first to gently but firmly remind you that he’s #notdeadyet.
